Ok, the other day i watched Stay movide *again* and i thought *again* that it`s a very tragic, touching, strange and interesting, heartbreaking movie. And the story as itself. I was very impressed the first time i watched it, i really liked the OST to this movie. And, in conclusion, i decided to make a video. It was after 2 energetic drinks with alcohol, without sleeping, at 6 am in the morning. I started to mix the song i found right before it. Ok, i changed the song. I mean, i realle CHANGED it. So i tried to make it more....mmm...more interesting, i dunno. Anyways, i hope you guys like my video. Comments are appreciated :)

I used for this video some extra footage from the movie wich inspired me actually. Also I REALLY edit the song. And add some voices, melodies, so now it`s almost absolutely new song, lol, wich I think is really nice. It was very fun to make. I hope you like “my” song and my video.

This was amazing. I love the layering, and the effects, the way they fit into the song.

Just curious, as I am planning on buying some movie editing software, what did you use?

I use Sony Vegas 7, it`s pretty hart and scaring when you first open this program, but then you`ll se that this soft is actually very easy, and it`s only fun to make videos)

I loved the movie so I had one more reason to download the vid.
I love the way you played with the same situations, kinda crossing them. And you put a lot of your soul in it, plus you added movie' scenes to make the image of your head clear for the watchers.

Hello, this video rocks... IMHO, music is too booring... I think the music of Supernatural must be really rocking. Like AC/DC, Kiss, Motorhead and so long... But this video really rocks! Thanks.

Well, i agree with you here, but i didn`t want to make a rock video, ya`know, i wanted to make softer and sadder video, concentrate on the emotional side of the clip. But i`m really glad you liked it, thanks)

Just a sidenote: I watched the movie but I don't remember how it ended.

The vid is very...masterfully done. It's very audacious of you to mix the movie and SPN. So all what had happened to Dean was just a dream (maybe not his) between two moments as he died?

Oh, you should rewatch it, cause the end is the most powerful part!

Yep, you get the story) As in movie, Dean is dying, he sees rendom people, and he started falling, like in his thoughts, and he sees all this world, and he doesn`t know was it real or not. Actually, it`s like recap of the most hard times of the whole *show* for Dean, like, the most emotional moments, mother, dad, sam...Sometimes he was awake, he was lying on the bridge, and there was burning cars, etc, and this girl (from the movie) told him stay with her. And, after all, it`s not known, what was real and what wasn`t, was all his life real or not.

well, in the end he died and like went to nowhere. This is pretty much wat this video is about) Just wanted to make it clear) But you get the general idea absolutely right)

I think this is AMAZING! You did a WONDERFUL JOB! It was like I was in the dream too, just watching, observing, scared -oh, it was just so well put together that I'm seriously sitting her with my jaw hanging open.

Side note, I love In Flames, but don't think I've actually heard this song before so extra cookies to you.

I loved the disjointed and surreal feel of this vid. I actually didn't read your vidder's notes or the summary before I watched it and when I finished it I thought, "Dean's dying thoughts, oh wow ... and Sam wasn't there." :( I thought the music worked well and the sound clips you added enhanced the fleeting/pieces of life feel that I think make sense for the last moments of someone's life.

Well, Sam wasn`t there, because it was not known - was it real or not. I wanted not to say it exactly, so there`s the feeling of unknown, something like that.

This is probably the most profound, creative, and inspiring video I have ever seen. I'm completely blown away by the sheer perfection of it. Having seen and adored the movie Stay, I think that's part of why I am so taken and affected by this. Thank you for making this gem - I plan on watching it and recommending it many times over.

Hey *waves and takes a deep breath*,

I was wondering if I could use this vid as an example in my upcoming paper on SPN fan vids.

It's going to be a comparison and contrast of Two Vivid and Compelling "Supernatural" Fan Vids.

This would hold both vids in a positive light and focus on how they are different, but still amazing (vivid and compelling) in their audio/music, stories/themes, and editing.

The other video is Human by [info]sweetiejen. Both of your videos resonate so strongly and keep with the viewer for a while after they watch it. They've been added to my mental list of favorites of all time.


So, I'd be honored if you let me write about your vid. I know I'm not the most well spoken lady around, but I'll do my very best to showcase it.

I won't be too hurt if you decline, but if you do say yes I would be so very thankful.

Even though I think I may struggle with this, I don't want to give up and turn to something easier to write with; I want to show my professor what great storytelling and talent lies in fandom, you, and its contributors.


I may have a few questions about editing or a scene or two, but I swear I would try my best not to bother you. If I do have any and you don't have time to answer them, it is totally fine.
