So, I was up all night, making some art for Big Bang (I actually even succeeded at something \o/), and I caught Smokey on msn and showed her this video.

Because it’s for her, and this video has pretty long story, starting back in march I suppose :?
Thanks to this month’s challenge over the SVS, which theme is Coldplay’s songs, I had this so much needed kick in my ass. I didn’t want to start this video, because I thought that I wouldn’t be able to make it as I saw it in my head, and this song is almost 5 minutes long and…

Well, this happens pretty much with all my video projects and ideas :? I’m really sorry guys, if I promised you something that you still haven’t seen…

Anyway.
I though I would make this video waaay too long, but it turned out I needed two days and 10 hours in total oO And who says I have some real life?..

This video is about everything we saw in the show. It’s Dean’s POV, and I stick up with lyrics basically, trying to build up the pace as the music does. Because the music in this song is one of the most powerful I’ve ever vidded. Oh! And don’t even blink after 2:34, cause everything is kinda fast after it. I mean, really fast :D

I’m pretty satisfied with the result, hope you’ll like it, too.

Holy ...! I've just downloaded your vid., something I do only very occasionally because it is truly brilliant. Congratulations on the tight editing; you've sync-ed the visual and music/lyrics so beautifully to create an intense emotional journey. I wanted to applaud some of your choices. I think I should simply stop commenting your vids, because I make a fool of myself each and everytime if I say it's the best vid ever and then I say it again for the following one...but I can't help it!!

Brilliantly done, as are all your vids, and tells the story of Sam and Dean pretty much from beginning to end. Dean will always try to fix Sam, whether it's possible or not.

This was great - I am surprised I haven't seen an Spn vid done to this one before - to me this song has always been an epic Sam and Dean story and my thoughts always wander to them when I hear it. Great vid - loved the shots you chose. Thanks for making and sharing.

That was absolutely amazing. Not only is Coldplay one of the best bands in the world, but "Fix You" is by far one of the best songs ever written.

It was so gorgeous, I sort of feel like crying! :O

It's been a while, and I mean a LONG while, since a vid actually sucked me in and then made me cry like a little girl. (of course I cried like a little girl at 2x22, but that had audio, it cheated, lol)This vid is gorgeous, the ending just about killed me - going back to where Dean promised it was all going to be ok as long as he's around ...

Overall the last minutes, when the music is fast and the scenes too!!! ohohohooh I like that soso much! the beginning was to me a little slow and boring, but later the thing changes and it was so good.

bye the way... the sony vegas that you have you download it from somwhere or you bought it? Because I download it and it does not want to work in windows vista. So I was wondering if this is wrong or what because I have xp too and on that it works.

I downloaded Begas from internet, and I have Windows XP, so I don't know about Vista, sorry. The only thing that I can say that I know vidders who works with Vista, and they use Sony begas just fine. Google it, maybe you'll find something that will help you.

Absolutely beautiful, and I love that you didn't trim out the instrumental! Wow, there was so much crammed into this vid that I feel like I could watch it ten times over and still catch something new, heehee! I love it. And the ending was perfect. :)

Guh, I had shivers down my spine during the instrumental part, you've made great choices there. Love the softness of the visuals as they go so well with the song sound, and you always have such nifty transitions.

I don't know how you do it, but you're vids are absolutely breathtaking, every single time. There were so many things to love about this one; the instrumental section was just flawless. I especially loved the shots of Dean hugging Sam in AHBL2 transposed with the Sam crying over Dean's body in NRftW. Really, really amazing job, and the last shot was perfect.

Wonderful job, as usual. :D
