Hey all.
So, now I try to finish up all my started projects, which I have helluva...Ok, too many.
Anyway, I finish first what can be finished sooner, so those who waits for something from me (you know who you are, right? ♥ ) just wait a little bit longer, just a little, I try to clear the chaos of ideas in my head and I just need to get free of something.

I think this is what this show is about, right? Two brothers (include all the family drama), driving down the road, killing monsters and listening to the classic rock?
I spent last few month with this song, and there were times when I thought I couldn’t make it, because the song is really basic, as I already told, it has steady bit, amazing lyrics, but somehow, I wasn’t able to finish this vid earlier. But Jayne kicked me in my ass, so here we are – I vidded the whole song, and I’m pretty much satisfied with the result, in the end the decision was pretty easy.

And yes, YouTube dumped me once again, so BVV for today ;)

My God, you're brilliant at making these vids. This one is absolutely breathtaking ... and black and white really works for the mood you've created. You choose the most perfect music, too. Pulsing beat, haunting lyrics, a melody that evokes conflict, desperation ...

The way you meld the music and images is awesome.

I'm stunned. And I'm very, very grateful.

Okay, first: The Chain is one of my absolute favorite FM songs. The power of it, the staccatto choruses then that DRIVING ending. Just a great song. And the vid?

Whoa. Terrific scene choices, the transistion between frames was seamless and fit perfectly with the music, and when that bass line kicks in (doon dododoon dodoon dodoon doon) the flashes of ruby, Sam and Dean, with each tap on a chord? WELL DONE!

Ohh, the slow pan on Dean watching Sam, when that circle of light grows over his face then disappears, you set it to the line in the song "Damn the dark, damn the light" - the timing on that was Soooo PERFECT, I gasped.

And the washed out sepia? MAsterful. My only complaint, some of it was too dark, but that probably had more to do with the way the show's filmed than anything you did in the vid making process.

More than likely going to DL this vid, AND rec it. Because, wow. Terrific job.

I love this! your timing is so perfect, I'm jealous :) lol
and I like the simple coloring - it doesn't drow attention away from the plot, but sets the right mood. very nice ^^

Yay! A new vid!

And such a wonderful one! I loved the greenish sepia (I fail at describing things, apparently) and the black and white in the end.

The last minute or so is my favourite part of the vid and I liked that you used scenes from all seasons.
And the music? Awesome. Such a perfect match. And the changing pace. Wow.

Loved this - the song just has Supernatural written all over it in terms of the sound and the style. The scenes you chose and the editing worked really well - I enjoyed it, thanks for making and sharing.

Reading that you had a bit of a struggle making it through the vid, I can only say I'm glad you did:) It's a song a grew up with, and the beats are simple but they make for a dramatic look when you hit them the way you do. I love this, well done.

Oh. OH! I have a deep personal history with this song, so initially I was reluctant to click but it seems like such perfect Winchester song (and I have great faith in your work!), so I decided to dive in and WOW! You completely did it justice. Beautiful, beautiful lyricism, matching the movement to the beat and build of the song. I have such admiration for people who can use quick-cuts so deftly and this was an amazing example of that. LOVED IT. *happy sigh*

Superb work, and I LOVE this song so much but oddly enough never equated it with Supernatural till now. Now I can add it to my list of tunes that will always remind me of my fave show, ha! I also loved the end; it always kills me, how the boys simultaneously reach to grab each other's shirts even as their eyes are glued to Lucifer rising. The fact that at least at season's end they have sort of come full circle back to each other gives me some hope for season 5!

That's beautiful, and chilling. They're so bound up with each other -- good/evil/pain hardly enters into their relationship; there's only inevitability.
